Two comments regarding your navigation.

1) on your home page, do not show the home link (like you are doing) but do leave the space for it. That will keep your other links from shifting right.

2) Move the blog link off the main navigation since it is not part of your actual site. Or better integrate the blog into your site by adding the full nav bar to the blog.

Great post. I myself have been guilty of scanning a blog or website instead of reading the whole thing. I hate reading a mile long article or page that should have been condensed. Simple language is always better because we have many who have a hard enough time reading English.

OK, that was more work than I expected. I installed the Coldfusion OpenIDConsumer.cfc on my host web site, only to find out that createObject() has been disabled on my host. I then had to re-write the code to authenticate using cfinvoke. The code also tried to create a java object which I had to replace with some native Coldfusion code as well. I can now authenticate an OpenID URI using OpenID 1.0. I plan to submit my changes back to the project.

Yahoo requires OpenID 2.0, so it rejects my servers requests. I wonder what it would take to implement OpenID 2.0?
